This feature is called Google Factory Reset Protection, abbreviated as FRP lock.
A similar security scheme has long been implemented by Apple in its products and has proven itself quite well. This is what will happen if you do (for example, when deleting a pattern or phone firmware). When you first start and check access to the wi-fi network, the phone will ask confirm account. A similar message will appear.
Of course, if you remember the necessary data (they are entered when purchasing the phone), login and password, there will be no problems. 5- By clicking next it should start (if the DPC menu pops up asking you to create a profile in English, select the lower value “skip”.
6- That's it, the tablet is running in normal mode. Go to settings and do a full reset. After turning on, we are happy with the unlocked device

In the spring of 2015, one of the leading software developers for gadgets, Google, introduced a new way to protect devices with the Android operating system from theft. Google programmers explained the need for such measures by the fact that the password for an account can be changed without knowing it. To do this, you only need to have access to the phone number specified in your account, because with two-factor identification, the code for changing the password is sent to it.
How to disable FRP
You cannot completely disable Factory Reset Protection on Android. You can only be responsible about creating a Google account and create a password that you will not forget. You can also write it down on a piece of paper and store it separately from your smartphone. If something irreversible has happened and you can’t remember the password, don’t rush to throw away the device - it’s possible to bypass the lock, although you’ll have to work hard:
- enter the requested information, namely login and password for your Google account;
- from a desktop computer or other device linked to the same account, log into the account and unlink the blocked device;
- contact the service center if you have a receipt and warranty card;
- replace the system board in the device.
These are ways to officially solve this problem, but it is not always possible to use them: some are too long, others are expensive.
All ways to bypass Google account verification
There are many ways to bypass the blocking. Of course, Device Protection developers periodically plug gaps in the software, but hacking masters come up with new ones.
The operating principle of such bypasses is the same. The main thing is to get into the phone menu using certain flaws in the software, and then reset the current account, gaining access to the settings or file manager. The most common workarounds are listed below.
When you start the device for the first time after resetting the settings to factory settings and the smartphone tries to connect to the Wi-Fi network, the smartphone will ask for a login and password for your Google account. If it is impossible to enter them, then:
- Remove the SIM card from the device and turn on the device. On the login and password request page - in the window where you need to enter your email login - press and hold the symbol @ until the keyboard settings menu appears, and after that - “BACK”. Then press and hold the submenu button until the Google search bar appears, in which write the word “Settings”. After opening the settings menu, turn off “Auto-recovery” and “Save backups”, and in the “Restore and reset” menu, reset your phone.
- Insert the SIM card, call it, accept the call, and then select “Add a new call”, in the number entry window enter the combination: *#*#4636#*#* after which you will be taken to a new window with advanced settings. Click the arrow in the top left corner of the screen and go to your phone's standard settings. Further everything is as in method 1.
- Connect to Wi-Fi, as soon as the network check starts, go back. In the network selection menu, click on any network, then in the password entry menu, write any characters. Select them, click on the three dots at the top, select “Show hints”. In the search box that opens, write “Settings”. Next follow method 1.
The main thing in such a situation is to understand the principle of bypass and not be afraid to experiment yourself. Perhaps you will be able to invent your own method that no one has thought of yet.
